As a mom of two energetic kids, I’m always on the lookout for a vacation spot that will be fun for the kids, yet relaxing for us parents. That’s how we ended up at Nof Ginosar Hotel—and completely loved it, it was exactly the right balance for as between fun and relaxing vacation.

Amazing Rooms with a Countryside Vibe

The first thing that greeted us was the wide, beautifully maintained lawns. It felt like our own private park, with hammocks hanging between the trees—an ideal place to rest. The kids ran barefoot on the grass while we sat in the shade enjoying our coffee. I honestly can’t remember the last time I felt so calm during a family vacation.

We stayed in one of the rooms in the  Ginosar Village, which has comfortable design. Everything was clean, pleasant, and surrounded by greenery. It felt like being in nature but with all the comforts of home—and most importantly, the kids slept well at night!

Ginosar Beach – A Dream for Kids

Just a few hundred meters from the hotel is Ginosar Beach, and it quickly became our favorite part of the trip. The beach is quiet and protected, thanks to a breakwater that calms the water and makes it super safe for kids. They splashed around happily while we relaxed nearby. The beach has everything you need—showers, restrooms, shade—making it easy to spend the whole day there.

Tasty Food and Friendly Service

We really enjoyed the meals at the hotel—nothing fancy, but tasty, varied, and very kid-friendly. What stood out most to me was the staff—everyone was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. You could really feel that they care about giving guests a good experience. And the highlight for us was the mesmerizing view from the hotel restaurant—directly overlooking the Sea of Galilee.

A Place We’d Definitely Return To

Bottom line—Nof Ginosar is perfect for families: great location, beautiful setting, spacious lawns, calm beach, and truly relaxing atmosphere. We were already talking about coming back next summer, with our friends. If you’re looking for a family-friendly vacation spot in nature, with water, comfort, and a peaceful vibe—I wholeheartedly recommend checking out Nof Ginosar. For us, it was exactly what we needed.
